Papa Murphy's president, ops chief Turner resigns

VANCOUVER, WASH. -- Clarice Turner, president and chief operating officer of Papa Murphy's International, resigned after two years with the take-and-bake pizza chain, chain officials said. Earlier the company said its chief marketing officer, Ann Stone, also resigned after a year on the job. She joined in April 2008.

Officials said both left to pursue other opportunities. John Barr, Papa Murphy's chief executive, said the company would evaluate possible internal candidates to take on those jobs. Barr said Kevin King, previously Papa Murphy's senior vice president of development, was named senior vice president of operations. Also, Steve Figliola, formerly vice president of business development, was named vice president of development. Papa Murphy's operates or franchises more than 1,100 locations in 31 states and Canada.
